Default River Nidd, Lofthouse Yorkshire?

Hi, I am on holiday in Lofthouse in two weeks and am informed the River Nidd runs through the village, would love a couple of days fishing, anybody tell me if this stretch is any good and for what species. Also how I get a ticket and how much please. Many thanks for any help with this one

If it is Lofthouse near wakefield then I dont think it is near the Nidd...I think it is either the Aire or Calder....but I am not a fisherman...see if there is anything on British Waterways site.
