Default Sand, River Thames, London.. where is it?

There are pictures on the internet of sand when the tide goes out at the River Thames.
for example,

where exactly is it?
how do i get to it?
and when is the tide out?!?!?
will the sand be there tomorrow??

There is a good kids beach at Chalkwell, on the way to Southend on the north side of the Thames. Take the Southend train from Fenchurch Street oveerground station and alight at Chalkwell. They have Punch and Judy too.
