any good stretches of the river thames?

ive fished the thames in richmond and all the rest but i really wanted to find a stretch that is a nice place to fish and can offfer some nice fish. maybe a bit of the thames that runs into a smaller bit. any good features anywhere along the thames around richmond, ham sort of area? any bait tips for carp and barbel? or chubb? thanks. go outside of richmond since they will dump crud into the river, that would be ideal for carp though.other areas outside the town will be more productive. hope this helped.
