ha ha well Alan C the panama canal would be ours because we funded the building of it, you should try reading, he is right carter is the worst president, mar time law,im pretty sure, doesn't grant warships open access to our ports and/or canals, the only reason that you don't like Reagan is because obviously you side more with communism or at the very least socialism instead of free market trade, i don't know why, so many timMarxismim has been proven to be fundementally flawed because it promotes lazyness and mass conformity. Reading these comments have really help me see how someone like Obama, who has no experience, in any way at all, could be voted in. Thank you

I like how you pretend that your opinion concerning Carter is a "well-known fact." That's funny.

The Panama Canal return was contentious, that's true. But you're ignoring the fact that Russian warships would likely enjoy the the right of innocent passage through the Canal no matter who controlled it. That's because you don't know anything about maritime law, which is why you should not be talking about this issue.
