Yes, but make sure you go to a specialist. I went to a dentist in the U.S. and my root canal still hurt afterwards. I ended up paying to go to a specialist, breaking my cap and having the procedure redone. It cost a bit of money but worth it! I have no problems with it and glad I kept my tooth.
The procedure did not hurt at all, Make sure you find a specialist for it, so you don't have problems with it later on.
