Default Can you row the Grand Union Canal the full route, from Birmingham to Brentford?

I am considering rowing/canoeing this route for charity a bit later in the year.

It's 137 miles, and boatsman used to do it in 5 days.

What do I need to do? Do I need a license? How much does this cost?
