First, it's Loch Ness not lake loch ness, because loch means lake.
Yes, you can, BUT the water is very cold, dark in colour, and gets deep very rapidly as you step away from the beaches. So swimming is quite dangerous and not recommended, except for experienced open-water swimmers.
